Today was No Pens Day in school and we had a fantastic time learning without pens or pencils. Nobody, including staff, did any writing all day long. The day began with an assembly to share the importance of speaking and listening. Activities included debates, a treasure hunt, puppet making, story-telling and explaining to friends how to make complicated origami shapes! The children loved the opportunity to practise their speaking and listening and we were very proud of the langauge skills they demonstrated.
