FROGS is a group of volunteer parents who got together in 2002 to help raise funds for the school. We work in partnership with the school community to provide resources or facilities (not already provided by the local authority) to enhance the educational opportunities open to the children at Grange school.
With the help of parents, teachers and pupils, we have raised nearly £7000 for the school. This has been used to fund various projects ranging from new playground equipment and benches to subsidising the theatre trip on the Year 6 Isle of Wight visit.
We are always looking for new members with new ideas. We only meet twice a term, but will meet more often when a specific event needs arranging. It is not necessary to join the committee to help; just your assistance on the day of an event would be greatly appreciated.
The fundraising events really do make a difference for our children. At the end of the day, with poor government funding for children in KS2, we need to help to improve our children's environment at school.
