After, leaving 5 minutes early we had all arrived safe and sound at Highfields School, all buzzing but nervous about the hard afternoon ahead. The whistle blew and the and the chatting began . Everyone crowded around the side . Soon we were all ready . Hearts were racing as everyone set off for their events. (Bobby, Y5)
Some of the events were: 4 by 1 relay,obstacle relay,speed bounce and triple jump. the girls came 3rd and the boys came joint second,so we did not win. but at least we got into the finals which was so fun and really cool. (Lauren, Y5)

When we all found out the results we now knew that Pixmore school won! Pixmore school all stood up at front of the hall and got awarded a trophy for their school and also got a medal each. They were celebrating like mad,all their parents took a picture of them.We all felt very proud of our selves and celebrated too. We loved going to indoor athletics and we hope to go back there again!
