Welcome to The Grange Academy
I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to The Grange Academy. As the Interim Headteacher, I am very proud to share with you the uniqueness of our school and the values which underpin everything we do.
We are proud members of the Agora Learning Partnership, where the values of Ambition, Generosity, Optimism, Respect and Adventurous and Brave run through all of our curriculum, as well as our extra-curricular offer.
We have four simple rules at The Grange Academy: 3 x R + S =

We are a calm and happy school where everyone is valued and respected. We have a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed team of staff who endeavour to provide a learning journey full of awe and wonder. Everyone at The Grange consistently works hard to give the very best education, both academically and socially, to our pupils. We believe that every child matters, and our staff work collaboratively to ensure that individual learning needs are met in order to create a truly inclusive learning environment.
All staff have been trained in Therapeutic Thinking, an approach to positive behaviour management with a shared commitment to de-escalation, meeting pupils' needs and, when things go wrong, reparation, reflection and restoration.
When entering our school, you will immediately feel the warmth, friendliness and mutual respect that underpins all we do at The Grange. We have high expectations of pupils, in their learning and in their relationships. Our aim is for our children to learn and achieve to the best of their ability, as well as grow to become rounded citizens ready for the next step.
Parents and carers play a very important part of school life and we value our partnership with them. Together, we share responsibility for the children’s education and we are always working closely together with their best interests at the centre. We encourage our parents to become involved in all aspects of school life, so that, as partners, we can promote high standards of learning, behaviour and attitudes to enable every child to reach their full potential.
