Science Morning

On Friday 7 May 2021, the school was full of scientists, as we all came to school dressed to carry out a role that requires an element of science. It was wonderful to see all of the children and staff coming to school in their ‘work clothes’ and discuss the need for science in their chosen career. Among the roles that were represented, we saw vets, forensic scientists, astronauts, gardeners, bakers and several medical professionals. Everybody entered into the spirit of the day and it was wonderful to see the enthusiasm from the children throughout the school as they discussed and researched what was required for their career. Lots of us learned about how science is useful outside of the classroom and how it is relevant to many areas of everyday life, and we hear that a number of children have new aspirations for the future.

Well done everybody for a great morning!
