  • Harvest Festival Assembly presented by Year 3

    After just six weeks at The Grange Academy, Year 3 bravely stood up in front of the school hall packed with pupils and parents. Cherry class spoke confidently about what Harvest Festival is and how it came about. Hazel class loudly and proudly explained how Harvest Festival is celebrated around the world. They all did incredibly well. 

     

    Thank you to everyone that kindly donated items. Three car boot loads of goods, such as toilet rolls, toiletries, canned and dried goods were delivered to the Letchworth Food Bank. 

  • Lost World Golf Trip

    A small group of Year 6 children took a trip to Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf in Stevenage a few weeks back. They had a fantastic morning, with a lovely autumnal walk through the common to the train station at Letchworth to catch the train to the Leisure Park in Stevenage. They played two rounds of golf and enjoyed pizza and chips for lunch. They were great sports and their super behaviour made for a very enjoyable day out!  

  • Tag Ruby Event

    On Tuesday 28 September 2021 a small group of Y5/6 children and on Thursday 30 September 2021 Y3/4, represented the school in a tag rugby festival at Letchworth Rugby Club. 

    The children played against other schools in the area in a round robin of 7 minute games.  We are

    extremely proud of, not only how well they all played, but also how well they represented the school.  Their respect and  sportsmanship was excellent.

    The Y5/6 children received the Sportsmanship Award voted for by all the other competing schools, so a huge congratulations goes to them.

    We would also like to thank the parents and carers who helped with lifts and for their amazing support.
