Take a look at what we've been up to...
The Rowan pupils did an amazing job of sharing their knowledge with all the families that came to take part in the Rowan Class Showcase! ๐

They learnt that the main elements of photograph composition are:
1. patterns
2. texture
3. symmetry/asymmetry
4. depth of field
5. leading lines, curves, frames, diagonal lines
6. contrast, colour
7. viewpoint, depth
8. negative space, filled space, foreground, background
9. visual tension, movement
10. shapes
๐ท Assignment 2 from the Camera Club:
Using their iPhone or digital camera, the children took two photographs that they thought demonstrated their favourite subject/hobby/activity.
The children thought about the overall composition and considered, patterns and repetition, the rule of thirds and depth of field.
๐ The children created a piece of artwork to show the world through their newly-opened optimistic eyes. It was their chance to be optimistic and creative and design a world they would be proud to be part of. โญ
